He was born on February 23, 1944, in Evergreen Park, IL, to loving parents, Raymond and Helen Newhouse. He leaves his loving wife of 57 years, Mary Newhouse; 4 children: Lisa (Fred) DeWitt, Ginny (Dave) Draftz, Peggy (David) Young and Lindy (Daniel Schmidt) Mayer; 10 grandchildren: Alex, Erin, Freddy, Mary, Anna, Kate, Ben, Ellie, Leo and Annie; one great-grandson, Arlo, along with another that's on the way, "Baby Draftz"; three siblings: Russ Newhouse, Rich (Pat) Newhouse and Bob (Joye) Newhouse; one sister-in-law, Ann Welsh; his step-mother, Lorraine Newhouse; countless nieces, nephews, god-children, foster children and a world-wide family of friends. He now joins his parents, Ray and Helen Newhouse; two grandchildren: Teddy Draftz and Tim Young
