James N. Flammang, 76, of Hinckley, Illinois passed away peacefully at his home on August 18, 2024, where he was able to live out his last days by the grace of his wife and family being by his side. He was born on August 12, 1948 in Aurora, Illinois, the son of Francis F. and Audrey L. (Rudolph) Flammang.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired after many years of service from Bemis. Jim was a Model-A enthusiast and a member of the Model-A Kar Klub. He enjoyed traveling and hiking with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of 24 ½ years, Dora; his children, Nicholas (Stacy) Flammang, Patrick (Chloe) Flammang, Nikola and Velislava; his grandchildren, Maverick Kelland McCown, Sherry Jane Flammang, Aiden, Alexa and William; his brother, Richard (Penni) Flammang; his sister, Linda (Richard) Pasetti-Olson and several nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024 from 1-4 p.m.
