Janice Hutchings Harrison Born: August 2, 1940 Died: August 13, 2024 Janice Hutchings Harrison, 84, of Naples, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and mentor to many. Janice was born in Detroit, Michigan to Ralph and Minnie Hutchings on August 2, 1940. She went to Denby High School. She met her future husband, Hudson Harrison, while she was attending West Suburban Nursing School in Oak Park, Illinois. Hudson and Jan were married on June 17, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan. She received a bachelor's degree from Aurora University, and a master's degree in psychology from Wheaton College. In the midst of caring for her husband, parents, children, and grandchildren through the years, Jan loved reading, cooking, gardening, antiques, music, tennis, snow skiing, golf, and traveling. She enjoyed spending summers with her family by the lake in Michigan and winters in Florida. Jan was known for her generosity and hospitality
