Sourile, age 82, of Sleepy Hollow, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Crystal Pines Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Crystal Lake.He was born September 26, 1941, in Chicago, the son of Charles and Josephine (LaForte) Sourile.Dennis was a loving husband, a caring father, and a proud Papa. A loyal friend and helpful neighbor to many. Dennis had a passion for building birdhouses and was a hell of a swing dancer. To the very end, he was a proud Local 1 Iron Worker.He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kennita (Schlorf); children, David Sourile, Lisa (Damon) Theodorou, and Anne Jackson; Kennita's children, Melissa (Jeff) Thompson, Kristen (Brian) Glasgow, and Coleen (Michael) Laramie; his 13 dear grandchildren; sisters, Marianne Toton and Darlene Sourile; and many other dear relatives and friends.Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joseph; and son, Steven.Visitation will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 3:00 - 7:00 pm a
