Effie Carlson, 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Aurora, Illinois on June 24, 2024.She was born in Turley, Tennessee to the late Emmet and Maggie Byrd.
She was a huge fan of Gibbs (from NCIS). She loved doing puzzles and listening to her old Country music.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George and her brother and sisters.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 9 a.m. until the service hour of 11 a.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Interment will be at Welsh South Big Rock Cemetery.
