Nancy Diane Verbic Nancy Diane Verbic (Reynolds) was born March 10, 1936. She graduated from Charleston High School in 1954, and from the University of Illinois in 1958, with a bachelor's degree with a Major in Home Economics and a Minor in Art. She married Arnold Verbic on October 24, 1959. She taught Home Economics at Jefferson Jr. High School in Aurora, IL, full-time during 1958-1960, and subsequently served as a Substitute Teacher for West Aurora School District #129 for many years Additionally, Nancy worked as a Real Estate Broker in Aurora for 15 years. Nancy was intimately involved in the Wesley United Methodist Church, and religiously served in multiple capacities including leading and administering church functions such as luncheons, altar flower deliveries to shut-ins and recurring member visitations. She truly was a steward of the church. Additionally in her free time, Nancy was heavily involved in the Midwest Early American Pressed Glass Club. She loved China Painting
