Darlene Violet Thomas of St Charles, IL passed away on Monday June 24, 2024. She was born on September 20, 1950 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of Martin and Doris Halverson. She was united in marriage to Patrick Thomas on November 20, 1999.
Darlene was very passionate about her religion and was active at her church, Neumann Needlers and was a part of the choir at Hunt Choir Village. She liked to crotchet and like to make Afghans for everybody she knew. Darlene worked as a computer trainer and earned an achievement for being the Top Email Coordinator.
Darlene is survived by her loving husband of 24 years Patrick, her children Charles (Georgia) Bieneman and Charlene (Askar) Melone-Husain; her brother Martin (Tephi) Nels Halverson; Brother-in-law Michael (Babbette) J. Thomas; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and many loving cousins.
In addition to her parents, Darlene is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Daniel J. Thomas.
