She was born in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, on May 8, 1949, to Egon and Katherina Wrecke. She immigrated to America in 1952, and the family settled in South Elgin, Illinois, where she was raised.Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024, at 11 AM in the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin.
