Jerome Zelek, age 87, of Batavia passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva, Illinois.
He was born July 24, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew and Mildred Zelek.
Mr. Zelek served in the United States Navy for four years and worked for UPS for over 25 years.
Mr. Zelek is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joann, two children, Deborah (Ron) Heath and Jim (Denise) Zelek, three grandchildren, Michael Heath, Samatha (Kevin) Hancock and Tyler Zelek, two step-grandchildren, Nicole Burbach and Chris (Samantha) Burbach, a great-granddaughter, Lillian Hancock and two step great grandchildren, Tommy and Danny Burbach.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private graveside services will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, Geneva, Illinois
