Betty Ann Albrecht Born: July 12, 1928 Died: June 17, 2024 Betty Ann Albrecht, 95, of Marengo, passed away Monday, June 17, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was born July 12, 1928, in Elk Grove Township, the daughter of Edwin and Anna (Busse) Goebbert. She graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1946. She married Robert Albrecht on October 22, 1949, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Elk Grove Township. They moved to Marengo in 1964 and became members of Zion Lutheran Church. In 1977 they moved to Iowa where they farmed until they retired. After Bob's death she moved back to Marengo. She loved flower gardening, playing cards and baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Linda (Charles) McKee, and Keith (Mary) Albrecht; grandchildren, Lisa (Adrian) Castillo, Angela (Greg) Umhoefer, Christa (Nick) Bowles, Cheryl Zwiebohmer, Brent (Becky) Albrecht; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces
